Doncaster’s Frenchgate Shopping Centre has proved it has another ace up its sleeve after a member of the team was nominated for a prestigious award.
Rachel Barass, who works in the centre’s customer service team, has been short-listed as an ‘Ace Star’ employee after mystery shoppers recognised her excellence at work.
The Revo Ace Awards recognise and celebrate retail organisations and staff that deliver outstanding customer service and provide a consistently great experience.
Paddy Mellon, General Manager at the Frenchgate Centre, said: “We are delighted that Rachel has been shortlisted for this award for providing excellent customer service.
“We pride ourselves on making sure that our customer service is the very best it can possibly be.
“I am thrilled that Revo has recognised this first-class service in a member of our team.”
The awards set best practice benchmarks across the retail industry and promote innovations that meet customers’ shopping needs.
A whole host of retail places, including shopping centres, retail parks, leisure destinations, outlets and transport hubs, are invited to put themselves forward for an award.
Nominees are then visited by Revo mystery shoppers who judges the overall management of the destination as well as looking out for individuals who go the extra mile.
Where excellence is recognised, venues are placed on a short-list along with members of staff who are picked out for an individual award.
After acing a visit from the judges, Rachel, along with the Frenchgate team, have now been invited to attend an awards ceremony in April at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole when the 2019 winners will be announced.
