Ten employees from across Henry Boot are taking the plunge from 15,000 feet on 7th October to fundraise for the Group’s Charity of the Year.
Henry Boot PLC, headquartered in Sheffield, announced that The Children’s Hospital Charity which supports Sheffield Children’s was their chosen charity for 2020 and 2021.
The group of 10 want to reach a target of £2,500 for Sheffield Children’s. The hospital provides a wide range of specialist services to treat both physical and mental health of children and young people up to the age of 16.
Two other employees from the company have already taken part in a separate skydive to show their support to the charity collectively raising nearly £2,000.
Jack Kidder, responsible business manager at Henry Boot explained: “We are so proud of our employees for being committed to supporting our amazing charity partner.
“The hard work and dedication of those at The Children’s Hospital Charity and the outstanding care the hospital provides make this charity skydive all the more special.”
The donations will fund the specialist services provided at the hospital, new facilities and vital research that change family’s lives.
