THERE are more chances to bag a bargain as the St Luke’s Hospice Abbeydale Road shop now opens on Sundays.

The popular second hand store – one of 14 throughout the city – joins the charity’s Crystal Peaks and Crookes shops in now opening seven days every week.

The Abbeydale Road shop – in line with Crookes and Crystal Peaks – will be open from 10am to 4pm every Sunday from November 3.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our customers more chances to come and browse through our fantastic bargains,” said St Luke’s Head of Retail Marie Egerton.

“Of course, the more hours we open, the more stock we sell and that means we are always in need of more donations of clothing, DVDs, CDs household items and bric-a-brac which can be taken to any of our shops during normal opening hours.

“And our extra hours also mean we have more volunteering opportunities at all three shops.

“Volunteering at the St Luke’s shops is a great way to support the charity, meet people and also gain valuable retail experience in a busy environment.”
