Sheffield financial planner Jillian Thomas is featured in a prestigious podcast for leaders across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Jillian, who is managing director of Future Life Wealth Management, was invited onto an episode of the podcast, created by the Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which is in the process of talking to leaders from across the nation in an attempt to understand leadership and what it means today.

The recording, which is available on all major podcast platforms, also includes an interview with Lord Blunkett.

Jillian said: “I was delighted to have been asked to take part in such a prestigious podcast. I only hope some of my words help other leaders.”

Jillian has also just been shortlisted as Business Woman of the Year in the East Midlands Chamber Enterprising Women awards 2020.

Podcast host Matthew O’Neill asked Jillian and Lord Blunkett a series of questions about leadership and the role it has played in their careers to date.

Matthew O’Neill said: “Hosting a show like this, where you speak to genuine leaders who have been there and done it, either on a national stage or within a crucial industry sector, is an absolute honour.”

Lord Blunkett, chairman of The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, said: “I think the most informative element of each episode is the first part, where Matthew O’Neill is able to sit down with someone who really gets how their industry works and knows how to make their organisation tick. Someone who’s there day in day out working hard and inspiring others. That’s what leadership is all about.”
