In response to the latest devolution law announced this week, Partner Michael Hall from leading Yorkshire law firm Keebles LLP, said:
“It’s very positive that the devolution deal has now been signed – it’s taken over five years to get to this point and never has additional funding for the region been more needed than right now.
“The priority now should be to make sure that the funding is made available to the right places and delivered as quickly and efficiently as possible.
“The deal will be welcomed by both the region’s businesses and the South Yorkshire community as we work together to make our recovery from the affects of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
