Doncaster-based property expert Cassandra Zanelli will play a leading role at a national conference later this year.

Cassandra, who is a partner at PM Legal Services, has been invited to provide the legal update at the Association of Residential Managing Agents Annual Conference (September 8-11), which will be delivered remotely for the first time in its 25 year history.

ARMA, the trade association for residential leasehold management in England and Wales, has themed its conference as ‘Recovery and Beyond’ to provide delegates with the most up-to-date knowledge, information and advice in the sector.

Cassandra will speak alongside barrister Ayesha Omar from London chambers 4-5 Grays Inn Square to update on how the wheels of justice have continued to turn despite the country being in a state of lockdown.

She will consider the important decisions of the Courts and Tribunals and look at the impact of those decisions for managing agents.

Cassandra said: “The ARMA event is the ‘go-to’ conference in our sector, so I’m pleased and proud to have been asked to provide the legal update alongside Ayesha.

“Despite the lockdown, there has still been plenty happening for residential managing agents. It is essential people have the opportunity to hear about the latest news affecting them.

“PM Legal Services works across the whole of the country, but we’re proud to be based in Doncaster and to be representing the town on the national stage.”

Cassandra regularly flies the flag for Doncaster and is widely recognised for her expertise in the industry having won several industry awards.

Listed amongst the 100 most influential people in residential leasehold management, Cassandra is a member of the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) and an associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

She is a member of the ARMA advisory panel and an honorary consultant to the Federation of Private Residents’ Associations.
