CRYSTAL Peaks shopping centre has extended its support for Beighton Magpies for a further two years. Establishing their pride and support in the local youth side.

 

Beighton Magpies FC was formed in 1988 to provide football to the local community of Beighton and surrounding areas.

 

The club has since grown into one of the largest youth organisations and providers of sport in Sheffield, with more than 25 FA qualified coaches, who are all voluntary and give up their free time to provide football to local grass roots football.

 

The Magpies are an FA Charter standard football club which is the highest level of club accreditation awarded by the Football Association.

 

The further £5,000 sponsorship from Crystal Peaks will provide strips for all the Magpies’ 18 teams over the next two years.

 

“We are delighted to confirm that we extending our support for Beighton Magpies,” said Crystal Peaks centre manager Lee Greenwood.

 

“Crystal Peaks is not just a shopping centre but also part of the community it serves and as such we see support for groups like the Magpies as an essential part of the work we do.”

 

Beighton Magpies spokesman Richard Walsh commented: “On behalf of everyone at the Beighton Magpies I would like to extend our gratitude to Crystal Peaks for its continued support of grassroots football in the community.

 

“This sponsorship will help buy each player a new home shirts, shorts and socks as well as allowing the club to keep monthly playing costs as low as possible.”
