The Social Enterprise Exchange programme is this week delivering an online festival for the social enterprise sector and those interested in learning more in and beyond the Sheffield City Region.
The partners of the Social Enterprise Exchange have come together, with Sheffield Social Enterprise Network coordinating the festival, to bring together key organisations in the sector with the intention of celebrating the resilience of the sector whilst offering a space for those involved in and with social enterprises to collaborate and reset as we come to the end of 2020.
During a difficult time for businesses the partnership felt that the resilience and diversity of the sector needed to be celebrated and shouted about. Not only have many social enterprises manged to pivot in their services during this period, but they are often the backbone of services within sectors such as health and social care, education, creative and cultural and environment and sustainability.
The festival will be online from Monday 16th November – Friday 20th November. It will include input from Social Enterprise UK, Social Enterprise Mark CIC, Social Enterprise South Yorkshire and Humber, Keyfund, SERA think tank and a wide range of social enterprises, organisations and social entrepreneurs from throughout our region.
The festival is free and can be found at https://www.socentxchange.net/reset2020/ where you can register for all or any of the sessions that will be happening throughout the week.
Social Enterprise Exchange welcomes anyone interested in learning more about social enterprise to register for the festival, and learn more about the amazing work that is being done nationally and locally.
