Award-winning digital marketing agency, Hydra Creative, has defied an ongoing industry-wide downsize, with five new starters in the past month.

Despite the challenges presented by COVID-19, Hydra Creative has been able to continue with its expansion plans to meet the growing demands of clients.

First on board was Keith Tarry, who joins as Business Development Manager. Keith comes to Hydra as a successful business owner in his own right, having run his own event ticketing company.

The agency has also welcomed Rob Walton and Richard Graham who join the SEO & Marketing team. Rob and Richard bring more than 40 years of digital marketing experience between them, as well as a range of valuable digital skills and qualifications.

The company has also expanded its development team with Adam Tesh, who joins Hydra’s web development team, while apprentice Rosie Knight, joins to begin a Digital & Technology Degree apprenticeship through Sheffield Hallam University. Hydra also had marketing apprentice, Jasmine Savery, join the team back in October after being let down by her previous agency part way through her apprenticeship.

Ryan Daniels, Hydra Creative’s Managing Director commented: “Our newest recruits will play a key role in supporting our rapidly growing client base. Each team member brings unique skill sets that will benefit all of our departments.”

“Throughout this year, we have unfortunately seen lots of businesses struggle to keep afloat. Now more than ever it is vital that businesses double down on their marketing, to ensure that they are still reaching audiences now that buying trends have changed.”
