A Golf Day organised by Universal Office Products raised £6,000 for two of Sheffield’s best loved charities.
St Luke’s Hospice and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice each received £3,000 following the sporting day which was held at Hillsborough Golf Club.
“This is the second year that Universal have supported St Luke’s and they have now raised a fantastic £5,750 for our patient care,” said St Luke’s Corporate Fundraising Manager Joasia Lesniak.
“We are delighted that the Universal team have been so generous in giving their time and enthusiasm to thinking about local charities in this marvellous way.”
Julie Hampson, Corporate Fundraiser at Bluebell Wood, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Universal Office Products and all who took part in the charity golf day for their ongoing support.
“Universal have now been supporting Bluebell Wood for the past three years, raising over £12,000 to help children and families when they need it the most.
“We really do appreciate the support of such a fantastic local company and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event.”
Steve Manley, owner and director of Universal Office Products and also Sheffield Chamber president, said: “Once again it’s great to have fun raising money for two excellent charities.
“We are very fortunate to have some great customers, suppliers and associates who all give very generously to these amazing local organisations.”
