Fletchers Waste Management, one of the UK’s leading recycling and waste management organisations, are thrilled to have been shortlisted for the National Recycling Awards 2019 in the Independent Operator of the Year category.
The annual MRW National Recycling Awards bring together waste management professionals from across the UK to recognise and celebrate excellence and innovation within the industry.
The Independent Operator of the Year category recognises privately owned waste management organisations operating in any sector. The 12 companies shortlisted are required to illustrate creative business strategies, excellence in business growth, innovation in their approach to waste management operations, and positive customer feedback.
Founded in 1982, Fletchers Waste Management deliver environmentally-conscious waste management, skip hire and recycling services across South Yorkshire and Nationwide. Servicing both domestic and commercial customers, Fletchers Waste Management’s 37-year history positions them as one of the UK’s leading waste management experts.
Following heavy investment into new a plant and equipment the company has recently entered a significant expansion phase, quadrupling turnover, profitability and their employee headcount. Fletchers Waste Management have also purchased an additional 2.1 acre space allowing them to more than double their sustainable waste processing capacity which recycles 96% of their waste material input.
