Staff from the Sheffield offices of Nat West and Lombard banks are the first to sign up for the St Luke’s Hospice 10k Corporate Challenge.

The Asda Foundation 10k takes to the streets of the city on Sunday, September 23, staged in partnership with Sheffield City Council.

Representatives of the two banks are the first to give their support to Sheffield’s only hospice by competing in the St Luke’s 10k Corporate Team Challenge and aiming to raise more than £3,000.

St Luke’s Corporate Fundraising Manager, Jack Kidder, said: “This is a fantastic start to our special challenge to the business community.

“The 10k is a great sporting event and a great way to support a charity like St Luke’s and we’d love the hear from any other company that wants to follow the lead set by Nat West and Lombard.”

Lombard Senior Relationships Manager Veronica Wales commented: “We are very proud to support St Luke’s ‎and the amazing work it does. There are so many heart-warming stories that we wanted to fund raise for this worthy cause!

“It’s also hopefully keeping us healthy and trim so don’t delay, get a team signed up today and let’s see who the fastest businesses in Sheffield are!”
