Six forward-thinking business leaders are set to share their insights, knowledge, and experience to motivate, inspire other local business people, and to raise much-needed funds for Weston Park Cancer Charity on June 26.
‘2.6 ON THE 26TH’ is an innovative virtual two-hour leadership conference for forward-thinking business leaders and their people and has been organised by local business consultants Andy Hanselman Consulting.
“Like many charities, Weston Park have been hit hard by Coronavirus when it comes to ‘traditional’ fundraising so we got our ‘thinking caps on’” explained partner Jill White “and came up with something that plays to our strengths of sharing ideas, connecting people and helping them improve what they do!”
The result is a two hour ‘virtual’ event with six local successful business leaders each sharing their insights and their experience. The speakers are Arnie Singh of City Taxis, Amanda Holmes of Dransfield Properties, Dave Capper of Westfield Health, Julie Dalton of Gullivers Valley, Marie Cooper of CBE+, and Simon Biltcliffe of Webmart.
Jill went on to explain that each of the speakers has been chosen because of their ability to share and make things relevant and meaningful to local businesses and to entertain, educate and excite people and give them the inspiration to make a difference.
Samantha Dixon the CEO of Weston Park Cancer Charity added “I would like to say a huge thank you so much to these great local leaders who have given up their time to help and support us in these extraordinary times. Charities like Weston Park Cancer Charity are in desperate need of funds, and it’s wonderful to get the support of the local business community. By attending this event, you are not only helping your own business, but you are making a significant contribution to helping us and our patients.”
The virtual event takes place on Friday 26th June from 10am through to 12pm and 100 per cent of the £26 entrance fee will go straight to Weston Park Cancer Charity. Other local businesses including booking events business Tickets For Good have provided their services for free, and there’s even a chance to get ‘virtual conference catering’ delivered to your home or office from PJ Taste!
