Caged Steel have joined forces with Doncaster Martial Arts Centre (DMAC) to bring CAGED STEEL MARTIAL ARTS (CS-Martial Arts) - a dynamic martial arts programme for children based in primary schools.

Set to launch in September 2020, the new programme aims to bring martial arts into schools and create a legacy for the martial arts world.

The programme will pilot in Doncaster primary schools and roll out over South Yorkshire and the UK at a later date. Promising to focus on solving a number of different problems children are currently facing, and teaching them some core values, this programme launches at a time of increased awareness on the mental and physical strain lockdown has had on children.

Dominic Gibbs, CEO Caged Steel said: “Our goal at Caged Steel Martial Arts is to have a positive impact on every child through physical education, whilst teaching them the fundamental values of martial arts.

“CS-Martial Arts wants to introduce all children to what martial arts fitness can offer, and build a wholesome and virtuous future generation. We feel martial arts is a sure found way of teaching our children key values and aiding in the fight for great physical and mental wellbeing.

“We plan to do this by providing schools with a dedicated and qualified coach, completely free of charge to the child and to the school, who will use a scheduled PE lesson to help our children with such things as, building self-confidence, learning respect and discipline, all whilst tackling the growing obesity and diabetes rates in children.

“Getting involved in this programme will mean a direct connect with the family audience across Doncaster. The Caged Steel marketing team are dedicated to their partners seeing a return on their investment, which is much greater than just a logo on a kit and shows a sense of local pride and create extensive visibility for products or services.

“Being a part of this provides a positive contribution to local community, so it’s a great CSR opportunity to show your support.”
