Glu Recruit’s Office Heroes has been recognising exceptional individuals for six years now and as it enters its seventh year, it promises to be more inspiring than ever.
A Glimpse into 2023.
Glu Recruit, a renowned player in the recruitment industry, has been championing excellence in businesses across the Sheffield City Region with its very own Office Heroes initiative since 2016.
This annual event celebrates the hardworking and dedicated individuals who consistently go above and beyond in their roles, contributing significantly to their organisations.
In the world of business, the heroes are not always the ones in the spotlight. Sometimes, they are the ones working tirelessly behind the scenes, and Glu Recruit’s Office Heroes ensures that these remarkable individuals receive the recognition they truly deserve.
Nominations are now open, and they’re not limited by job title. Glu is actively encouraging businesses across all industries to nominate their Office Heroes, regardless of what department they work in.
Businesses can nominate by scanning the QR code below, answering the questions, and hitting submit. Nominations for Office Heroes 2023 close at 3 p.m. on Friday 27th of October. After this, a panel of judges from the business community will shortlist nominations down to the top 10.
Both shortlisted nominees and their nominators will be invited to an awards ceremony, on Friday 8th of December, at The Cutler’s Hall, Sheffield. Here, they will enjoy afternoon tea, celebratory drinks, magical entertainment, and the awards ceremony – where the winner will be announced.
As anticipation for this year’s ceremony builds, there is an evident buzz in the business community with a number of nominations already rolling in. While we eagerly await the announcement of the 2023 shortlisted nominees, here’s a recap of last year’s winner, Charlotte Palmer from Clear Quality Ltd.
The Office Hero of 2022
At last year’s Office Heroes event, one name stood out among the rest. Charlotte Palmer, Compliance Administration Manager at Clear Quality Ltd, was recognised for her ability to always boost staff morale, remain enthusiastic, and for her commitment to customer care.
Here’s what her team had to say about her, “Charlotte is an absolute delight to work with. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she always has time for everyone.
