One of Sheffield’s leading hotels has teamed up with local brewery True North Brew Co to host an evening entirely dedicated to gin.
The Copthorne Hotel Sheffield will host the event in its award-winning AA rosette 18fifty5 Restaurant on Friday 12 October at 6.30pm. The event will include a special tasting of three gin and tonics, plus a selection of paired garnishes and food chosen by head chef Mark Jones.
Mattine Sabzevari, General Manager at the Copthorne Hotel Sheffield, said: “We are really excited to offer our customers a fun evening dedicated to all things gin.
“It is great to be partnering with local brewing company, True North Brew Co, who will help us host a fantastic evening for all the gin enthusiasts out there – of which I’m sure there are many!
“True North Brew Co are the developers of Sheffield Dry Gin, the first gin to be made in Sheffield in 100 years and they will be on hand to teach talk about the history behind their product providing customers with a deeper understanding of the beverage.
“This will be the first of a number of events held at the Copthorne Hotel this autumn so be sure to keep an eye out for more to come.”
