Desk.Space was my first choice for coworking in Sheffield because it immediately felt like a warm and welcoming environment. After a day trialling a desk, I knew it was the perfect place for me to work and meet new people.

Neil, Dan and Amy have helped me with networking and new work opportunities, as well as offering a really flexible service. They recommended I join the Sheffield Digital slack community and now I am working with Sheffield Digital on a freelance basis. That connection has been hugely positive. Coworking at Desk.Space is also a great opportunity to explore Kelham Island and Neepsend which has so many exciting options for networking events and coffee breaks.

I have also been coworking at Sheffield Technology Parks. Tom Wolfenden has been incredibly supportive and generous letting me use their modern and spacious conference room for my career coaching workshops and staff are friendly and helpful.

It’s a unique space for people working in tech and digital, as well as supporting start-ups as part of the Cooper Project. Tom’s connections are remarkable and he’s always willing to share his knowledge and experience.

We’re incredibly lucky to have so much choice for coworking in Sheffield. I love the variety and the opportunities. What really stands out is the openness of the communities and how quickly I’ve found work I really enjoy. This has been made possible by the people who run the co-working spaces– they are really committed and have an exciting vision of the bigger picture.
