Strata Products Ltd has taken a five-year-lease on a high-quality, fully fitted 108,000 sq ft warehouse facility at Park Road, Holmewood in Chesterfield.
Acting on behalf of Urban Logistics, leading property consultancy Commercial Property Partners (CPP) secured the letting at the modern, detached warehouse following a comprehensive refurbishment of the building, originally built in 1991.
Strata Products Ltd manufactures a wide range of Home and Office, Garden and Baby products for both the UK and worldwide markets and is one of the major suppliers of watering cans, water butts, compost bins, decorative planters and growing accessories in the UK. The company, which was awarded The Queen’s Awards for International Trade in 2016 will be using the recently let building for storage and distribution.
The warehouse facility houses 12 dock level loading doors spanning across two storeys with fully fitted offices. The facility has full site circulation and boasts unrestricted 24 hour use.
Urban Logistics acquired the building from Tangerine Confectionary in 2017. The warehouse is situated on Park Road which forms part of the Holmewood Industrial Estate, and is only 1.25 miles from Junction 29 M1 making it an ideal location for distribution.
