Local firms that completed the Doncaster Business Insight Survey last quarter raised over £150 for The Children’s Sleep Charity.
For every survey taken by a business with a DN postcode, £1 was donated to the local charity that annually supports around 30k families nationwide who are in crisis due to sleep deprivation.
Says Vicki Dawson, CEO and Founder: “We are hugely grateful for this kind donation. The Children’s Sleep Charity is heavily reliant on donations in order to support as many families as possible. It will help us with the refurbishment of our offices so that we can house more volunteers; this in turn will ensure that we can meet the huge need for our services across the country. We are proud of our work in Doncaster where the CCG commission the first sleep service of its kind in the country. Any businesses with employees who have family sleep issues are encouraged to get in touch for our support.”
The quarterly survey, run by Doncaster Chamber, with the backing of Doncaster Council and sponsorship from ProAktive, captures a regular snapshot of business sentiment and how the local economy is faring. The results are used by the Chamber and local government to ensure the right policies and structures are in place to support the local business community.
