SOGGY bottoms were banned as the team at Sheffield’s Omnia Property Group put their baking skills to the test for the Great Omnia Quiche Off!
The mouthwatering competition was held at the company’s Queen Street headquarters in Sheffield city centre to raise funds in support of World Mental Health Day.
Judges Andrew Steel, Christina Wall and Jade Bedford had to sample a range of sweet and savoury offering.
And their winner was colleague Elaine Lennon, who tickled the judges’ taste buds with a gorgonzola, pear and walnut quiche.
“As a company that employs a mainly young work force and also works with student tenants across the country, we are always very aware of mental health issues and especially the way in which they can leave young people, often away from home for the first time, feeling extremely vulnerable,” said Omnia Managing Director Joanne Race.
“This one small fun event raised £100 for a cause that should be very important to everybody and also gave us the chance to highlight the issues on World Mental Health Day.
“It was also a fantastic way to get the whole Omnia team working together on a project close to our hearts.”
The Omnia Property Group works across all areas of the property market including block and commercial property management, offices, student accommodation, residential lettings and facilities management.
