Evoluted have entered multiple teams into Agency Esports first tournament: two-teams of three-players playing popular free-to-play game, Call of Duty: Warzone, and three single-player teams putting their best foot forwards in FIFA 21.

Agency Esports brings agency professionals together to game, bond with colleagues and make new industry connections through competitive video gaming all while raising money for charitable causes.

Winning teams secure a combined prize pool built by all competing agencies for their chosen charity.

Giorgio Cassella, Head of Marketing at Evoluted, said: “Like many agencies we are considering the impact remote working has on the mental wellbeing of our staff. We’re wondering how to preserve company culture or provide alternative social options in a remote-first world. Agency Esports provides one such option.”

Registrations for the first tournament season are open and have already attracted teams from many other agencies across the UK including Aira, Evolved Search, Bronco and Pharmacy Mentor, amongst others.

Gamers working agency-side are also encouraged to join the Agency Esports Discord community to meet like minded players from other companies even if they’re not actively competing. Freelancers who work with agencies are also welcome to take advantage of this.

“Social gaming provides the perfect conduit to vent stress and strengthen professional bonds through positive action,” Giorgio adds.

“Players become more confident, developing strong leadership skills and the ability to perform well under pressure; whilst teams become more coordinated and collaborative – essential skills for the virtual battlefield AND for the workplace.”

Evoluted MD, Ash Young, (pictured) has also taken to Twitter to throw down the gauntlet to rival agencies in the industry in the name of friendly-competition.
