Frenchgate Shopping Centre have announced that they are set to host an artisan craft, gift and food fair, which will open within the Centre on Friday 14th August.
Following the success of Frenchgate’s previous craft fairs, which have been located outside Debenhams, The Emporium will be a craft fair,
located on the ground floor South Mall in a retail until previously occupied by Poundland.
The fair has been organised by Yorkshire Craft Fair Community – run by Tammy Freer and Marie Wilson – who have organised previous craft fairs in the centre.
The stalls within The Emporium will be open from 10am until 5pm every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday as well as from 10am until 4pm on Sundays.
Highlights will include Evercraft, an artisan carpenter selling furniture made of recycled whiskey barrels, Indian Summer, which will sell leather and recycled plastic accessories and House to Home Prints, which create personalised prints.
Karen Staniforth, Assistant General Manager at Frenchgate commented: “Our team are thrilled to welcome The Artisan Craft, Gift & Food Emporium to a new home within the centre.
“Our regular craft fair is always popular with our customers and it’s great to be able to bring it back in a much larger space.
“There will be so many exciting retailers at the fair and I believe our customers will absolutely love everything that will be on offer. There is something for everyone so make sure you come into Centre and take a look at the fantastic range of products.”
