Sheffield-based marketing agency Diva Creative has appointed a new business development executive as it looks to maintain a period of impressive growth.
Chesterfield-born Alex Avis joins the firm after working in sponsorship sales at an events and media company in London.
His new role will see him create bid responses and quotes, find suitable tenders and research revenue opportunities to help the agency extend a recent streak of contract wins and pitch successes.
Alex is also working alongside account managers to deliver key projects for clients including West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council.
His addition follows Diva’s recent appointments of account managers Adam Anson and Jennifer Tully on the back of three major new commissions.
Alex, who holds a history degree from the University of Leeds, said: “It is exciting to join a growing agency that already has so much creative talent and ambition.
“I am particularly enjoying helping the wider team to respond to clients’ briefs with innovative new ideas and getting involved in the campaign design and development process.”
