Yorkshire law firm Keebles LLP has shared its expertise with senior HR professionals from across the city at an employee grievance workshop event.

Taking place at the AMP Technology Centre in Rotherham the event provided attendees with advice on how to successfully manage grievance and disciplinary investigations in the workplace.

Led by Keebles’ employment team, attendees heard talks from Head of Employment Catherine Wilson, Senior Associate Lauren Pickard and Associate Charlotte Middleton.  Delegates also had the opportunity to participate in an actual grievance investigation featuring Catherine and employment team paralegal Laurie Jackson.

Catherine Wilson said: “The employment team is extremely pleased that the event was a success and that we could help HR professionals to gain some valuable insights around employee grievance.

“Our aims were to pass on an understanding of both the legal requirements and practical aspects of managing grievance investigations from start to finish.”

As industry leaders, Keebles’ employment team are renowned for providing practical and efficient legal advice for a wide range of organisations across the private and not for profit sectors.

The event also acted as an introduction to the recently-launched ‘Keebles Intelligent Human Resources Advice (KIHRA)’ portal – an online tool designed to provide Employment Law and HR advice for the firm’s clients.

The next HR Network Event, which is due to take place at Keebles’ Sheffield Office on Thursday, 5 December, will focus on the problems that may arise for workplaces at Christmas and will provide answers to common HR queries.
