A year after a management buyout, Sheffield’s Omnia Property Group is celebrating 12 months of successful growth with plans to further extend it services nationwide.
The Omnia Property Group works across all areas of the property market including block and commercial property management, offices, student accommodation, residential lettings and facilities management.
The business, based at Omnia One in Sheffield’s Queen Street, was established in Sheffield in 2004 and was acquired in a management buy out last year by Joanne Race and Amy Ryan.
With a base already established nationwide, the company – made up of Omnia Space, Omnia Offices and Omnia Estates – has now grown into a major player covering the whole of the UK, with a workforce of 60.
Its portfolio includes the management of 1,000,000 square feet of office space, 1500 residential properties and student beds across the UK and more than 1,800 block management units – more than £350,000,000 worth of property in total.
Across the group, Omnia is committed to delivering flexible solutions, value for money and the highest standards of customer service to all clients, whether they are landlords or tenants, maximising income and minimising expenditure.
Building on that success, Omnia is now launching a new centre in Swansea, enabling the growth of business in Wales.
“When we acquired the business we were confident that we could grow it and after a successful 12 months we are now certain this is the time to press ahead with those plans,” said Managing Director Joanne Race.
“It was always our intention to develop beyond Sheffield and having established a successful base in Newcastle, we are certain that Swansea is the perfect location for our next centre, taking the Omnia name into new areas for growth.”
Operations Director Amy Ryan added: “We have had a really strong year on our student portfolio and other areas of the business have continued to perform well too.
“Although we are in an extremely competitive market we feel sure that the time for growth is right now.
“We pride ourselves on our reputation for developing personal relationships with all our clients and that is something we do not want to lose as we continue our expansion into new areas.
“And as we strengthen our base we are also looking at new areas for development, including facilities management, ensuring that we give the best possible level of service to our clients in all areas of the industry.”
