Yorkshire independent financial advisors Haywood & Co have expanded into new office space at Sheffield’s Meadowhall Business Park.

The company, which also has a base in Harrogate, has moved its Sheffield operations into bigger new accommodation at the refurbished business park.

The move is part of the firm’s ambitious plans to offer advice, to its growing client base of individuals and small and medium size companies, on all aspects of financial planning including pensions and retirement, estate and inheritance tax planning, investment portfolio management, tax planning and long term care planning.

Neil Waistnidge, company director, said: “Our ethos, since we established in 2004, has been to provide advice and guidance over the long term for the benefit of all our clients.

“Our move to Meadowhall Business Park from our previous base in Sharrow in Sheffield means we can continue to do this from bigger, more accessible and modern premises but also take advantage of the prime location to  attract a bigger South Yorkshire audience and better access our Harrogate office.”

Richard Burns, director at ARBA Group, said: “Our tenants have been attracted to our development by the quality of the refurbishment and fit out; the city centre amenities in an out of town location; the local, regional and national transport links and the flexibility of the space.”

Since its acquisition of the former five block Sheffield City Council headquarters on Carbrook Road in 2006, ARBA Group has transformed the site near Meadowhall Shopping Centre including upgrading offices, car parks and grounds through a £6m refurbishment programme.

Fifteen quality occupiers are based at the park including NG Bailey, Tuffnells, Tata Steel, Capgemini, GMB Union, Auburn Ainsley Limited, Chique Photography, KitchenEx, Preventx, Wilford Smith, Eaton Commercial Property Consultants Ltd, Galaxy Insulation Dry Lining (Holdings) Limited and Community Union with around 500 employees working there.
