South Yorkshire construction industry training provider T3 Training & Development along with Learning Skills Partnership has launched a groundbreaking digital engineering apprenticeship programme for one of the industry’s biggest names, Kier Group PLC.
“This is a major development for us and one about which we are very excited,” said T3 director Andy Adams.
“We are working with LSP to deliver a full digital engineering apprenticeship scheme that suits not only the industry but Kier’s specific requirements.
“We are delivering industry specific Digital / BIM training and on site NVQ assessment while LSP are delivering the Level 3 BTEC qualification in Construction & the Built Environment.
“This is a two-and-a-half year apprenticeship programme which has attracted a high standard of candidate, all of whom are newcomers to the industry.
“Working so closely with a company of the calibre of Kier also reinforces our position as a major provider of specialist bespoke learning and training in the construction industry.”
T3 was launched to meet a need for skilled and properly trained young professionals ready to take their place in the engineering and construction industry.
The company is now attracting students from across the UK who are coming to its Barnsley headquarters to take advantage of a groundbreaking new approach to training, delivering added value vocational training alongside academic partners such as LSP as part of a full apprenticeship programme.
