Sheffield-based Twinkl has been named in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100, which recognises the fastest-growing UK businesses.

The online educational publisher was ranked at number 61 in the list, which ranks Britain’s top 100 private companies with the highest sales growth over the last three years.

This is the first time that Twinkl has appeared on the list, which will be officially published on the Fast Track website on Sunday.

Jonathan Seaton, Co-founder and CEO of Twinkl, said: “We’re incredibly proud that Twinkl has been named in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100. It’s a brilliant achievement and a real testament to the efforts and talents of our wonderful team.

“I’m very honoured that through our work we are able to support and empower educators across the world. Getting featured on this list really reflects how much hard work and care goes into everything we do at Twinkl to help educators, so we’re thrilled to be included.”

Twinkl was founded in 2010 by Jonathan and his wife, Susie. From humble roots as a side-project operated out of a spare room, Twinkl has gone from strength to strength in the past nine years, and now provides high-quality, trusted learning materials to educators in over 196 countries.

The company now offers over 625,000 resources on its website and has over 5 million members.

The Fast Track 100 is sponsored by Virgin Atlantic and compiled by Fast Track, an Oxford-based research group.

Earlier this year, Twinkl was ranked at number 28 in the SME Export Track 100, which ranks Britain’s 100 small and medium-sized (SME) companies with the fastest-growing international sales over the last two years.
