Sheffield is set to welcome a new ‘premium indoor golf venue’ to the thriving New Era Square development.

Fringe Golf aims to redefine the traditional golfing experience by offering state-of-the-art Trackman IO simulators, allowing golf enthusiasts to play on world-famous courses regardless of the weather.

Whether you’re a seasoned golfer looking to perfect your swing or a novice seeking a fun day out, Fringe Golf promises to cater to all skill levels.

Beyond the fairways, the venue boasts a stylish bar and lounge area, designed to be a social hub, offering league nights, competitions, and group sessions, including dedicated times for women and children.

Fringe Golf has applied to Sheffield City Council for a premises licence, seeking permission to supply alcohol from 11am to 11pm daily, with extended hours until 2am on select holidays.

The application also includes provisions for late-night refreshments and live or recorded music during the same hours. Notably, the venue plans to open for televised golf and other significant sporting events outside regular hours.

Located just off Bramall Lane, Fringe Golf is easily accessible and promises to be a year-round destination for both golf aficionados and those seeking a unique social experience.

The venue’s website (which you can visit here) states: “Fringe is more than just a golf venue; it’s a community where practice meets pleasure.

“We are committed to excellence, inclusivity, and creating exciting experiences through the game of golf. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or new to the sport, Fringe offers an unparalleled golfing experience for you.”
