South Yorkshire architects White Design have started 2018 in style with the completion of two major leisure developments worth nearly £8million.
The Sheffield-based practice has been working with Wildgoose Construction as part of the design and build team for Marston’s Inns and Taverns since 2010.
This month saw the completion of the latest development, the £3m Station Pilot pub restaurant in Crewe, which can cater for up to 150 diners and has created 45 jobs for the local economy.
White Design has so far completed 34 new build projects for the leading pub operator and independent brewer, including three Marston’s Lodges. A further five new developments are due to start on site in the first half of the year.
The practice has also just completed its architectural and lead designer role for a new 79-bed Premier Inn with Thyme Restaurant which has opened in the Cumbrian market town of Ulverston.
The White Design team delivered an innovative design for the £5m project on a challenging site with the development opening on time and to budget.
