In recent months, IPM Group has safeguarded its extremely successful business and ensured its continued success despite some unexpected challenges.
Rick Bailey, IPM Founder and group CEO told unLTD: “I would like to confirm that it’s business as usual at IPM following a strategic group restructure to safeguard jobs across the company.
“This process has been taking place over recent months to ensure the future strength, stability, and growth of our business going forward.
“This situation was the result of the pandemic and the promise I made to do all in my power to ensure all staff livelihoods would be protected during the various lockdowns and months of uncertainty.”
This wasn’t an easy situation for IPM or any other business in their sector. Despite the pressures placed on the business due to the pandemic, IPM Group managed to maintain staffing levels.
Rick explained: “Though COVID-19 put an understandable strain on areas of the business due to the forced and temporary closure of various services and businesses, I’m glad to say not a single job was lost.
“This was in addition to the London Wasps going into administration following the Commonwealth Games, which resulted in a financial loss of £500k.
“Despite this, we’ve come out of the pandemic period stronger than ever but we were unable to agree on a sensible payment plan with our biggest creditor, HMRC.
“Our strategic group re-structure – which involved investment from personal assets and other business entities – has ensured all suppliers and every single job have been secured.”
As a result, Rick says IPM are in a fantastic position as they gear up for 30% growth in the security and stadia industry.
He continues: “Our leisure group is expected to grow more than 100% this year with three new venues opening later this year.
“As I look forward, I’m proud to say the group I started from nothing will continue to grow and thrive, and I am very excited for the future growth of the business as we create more jobs going forward.”
