IT started with just two staff and one property, but now Sheffield property management specialist Omnia Property Group is celebrating 15 years of growth and success both in Yorkshire and nationally.
The Omnia Property Group – made up of Omnia Space, Omnia Offices and Omnia Estates – works across all areas of the property market including block and commercial property management, serviced offices, student accommodation, residential lettings and facilities management.
The business, based at Omnia One in Sheffield’s Queen Street, was established in Sheffield in 2005 and was acquired in a management buy-out in 2018 by Joanne Race and Amy Ryan.
And now the company which started with just two members of staff and one property on its books has a staff of 65 and a range of around 200 properties across the country.
Omnia’s current portfolio includes the management of 1,000,000 square feet of office space, 1,500 residential properties and student beds across the UK and more than 1,800 block management units – more than £654,000,000 worth of property in total.
Across the group, Omnia is committed to delivering flexible solutions, value for money and the highest standards of customer service to all clients, whether they are landlords or tenants, maximising income and minimising expenditure.
Recent successes have included The Oldway Centre in Swansea, a new student property development with a capacity for more than 550 students.
The Oldway Centre marks a new era of growth for Omnia, enabling the development of further business opportunities in Wales and supporting the company as it continues its national expansion.
The company has also recently been appointed to manage Plant Based Valley, the new venture from environmentalist and businesswoman Heather Mills, which is aiming to make the North East the world centre for the creation of planet-based foods, ideas, business and industry.
The 600,000 sq ft complex is based on the site of a former cosmetics factory in Seaton Delaval, near Newcastle, and is already the centre for production of the Heather Mills VBites vegan food range.
Omnia is managing the business centre serviced office element of the operation, adding to its growing portfolio of clients across the country and especially in the north east.
“These two contracts alone demonstrate the diversity of our current portfolio,” said Omnia Managing Director Joanne Race.
“Omnia Property Group has long been an established and recognisable name in the South Yorkshire business community but when Amy and myself came on board it was our clear intention to take that name and make it a nationwide brand.
“We have a young and enthusiastic team and one that has grown enormously to meet the demands of our expanding client base.
“Our 15th birthday celebrations really are a tribute to their dedication and determination to maintain our place in an always challenging market place.”
