Businesses and individuals from across the city region will have a chance of glory at the upcoming Sheffield Business Awards, on Thursday 5 December 2019– and unLTD are among them!
Sixteen winners will be announced during the ceremony at Ponds Forge, which is organised by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Elevation Recruitment Group, and we’re chuffed to say we are among those shortlisted in the Creative Impact Award!

We’re in incredibly good company – literally – with companies like our friends like The Milestone Group we’ve featured in this very edition of the mag (read more about Cutlery Works first birthday on page 77!) and Bhayani Law Limited – we welcome their latest appointment on page 13.
Simon Harrison of DeeperThanBlue was in the Your Pitch in our November edition last year so it’s fab to see them shortlisted for Digital Transformation Project of the Yea.
In the Business Person of the Year, is Jonathan Seaton, of Twinkl Educational Publishing, the focus of a Company Culture back in July/August 2018.
Speaking of Company Culture, BHP told unLTD all about theirs in August, so we’re not surprised to see them in the Employer of the Year category alongside our regular columnists CT Ltd – who have done the double and are also in the running for Excellence in Professional Services.
Also in this edition are NowThen Cleaning telling us all about their joy at being shortlisted for the High Growth Business of the Year award in their 5 Minutes With on page 67.
Great to see Jenx, the parent company of Jiraffe, in the running for two awards, too – you can read more about Jiraffe in our Focus On feature in this edition page 46.
We put SCX on our cover in May 2019 to showcase their ‘pitch perfect’ stadia developments – and now they’ve made the shortlist for The Innovation Award.
Always great to see our cover star from issue 2 – Hannah Duraid from The Great Escape, especially when they’re in the shortlist for The Sheffield Universities Entrepreneurship Award, along with another friend of unLTD, Food Circle who featured in Your Pitch in December last year.
And in our debut issue we spoke to Westfield Health for our very first If You Ask Me.
We chatted to the Templand Group about their recent acquisitions in October’s edition – and they are now one of the contenders for SME of the Year.
In February this year we got the expert take on greener workplaces in If You Ask Me from Sheffield Sustainable Kitchens so congrats to them on their Excellence in Corporate, Social and Environmental Responsibility nomination.
