Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is urging people to make pre-loved their new love this February as it encourages supporters to check out its new Ebay fashion page while its charity shops remain closed.
The charity has launched a ‘Make Pre-Loved your New Love’ campaign after a challenging stop-start 12 months for its network of popular charity shops.
But while Bluebell Wood’s shops may be closed, there are plenty of ways people can shop thriftily and sustainably while helping raise much-needed funds to support local families.
Alongside its online shop and Ebay store, the charity has now launched a dedicated page for pre-loved fashion, with top high street and designer brands up for grabs at bargain prices.
Terri Hanson, Head of Retail at Bluebell Wood, said: “Our charity shops are incredibly important to Bluebell Wood, not only in connecting us to the communities we serve, but in raising much-needed funds to support our life-changing work.
“Unfortunately we simply don’t know when our shops will be able to reopen so our online retail offer is very important to us as a charity right now.
“That’s why we’re encouraging our supporters, whether they’ve ever visited one of our shops or not, to take a look at all the wonderful pre-loved items we have for sale online.
