Commercial law firm Harper James Solicitors, which has its headquarters in Sheffield’s Velocity Tower, has announced the further expansion of its national team with the appointment of Corporate Partner Adam Kudryl.

Adam brings with him a wealth of experience in corporate law, specialising in mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures in the property development and asset finance sector; having previously worked as firm-wide Head of Banking and Cambridge Head of Corporate at Howes Percival Solicitors.

Commenting on his new role Adam said he was ‘excited’ to be working with a genuine innovator and disrupter in the legal industry.

“My passion is working with exciting businesses that are going places,” he said, “and I’m very much looking forward to working with the Harper James team to deliver what is a very clear and transparent operating model to our clients; and to contributing to the expert business legal service provision that the firm is already renowned for.”

Harper James has grown rapidly since it was founded in 2014, with the team now made up of more than 40 Partners, Solicitors and support staff.

Its unique business model includes Enterprise, a monthly service plan targeted at innovative start-ups and SMEs, as well as On Demand which is specifically aimed at larger, more established businesses.

Harper James CEO, Toby Harper, added: “Adam joins the team at an exciting time for the firm which continues to grow at pace as more and more businesses identify with and see the benefits of our unique offering.

“During this period it’s vital that our management team is strong so that we can deliver against the increasing demand for our services, and Adam’s experience operating in partner-level positions in Corporate and Company Law renders him highly-skilled for the job. We are delighted to be welcoming him to the team.”

Earlier this month Harper James also announced the appointment of Employment Law Partner Simon Gilmour.
