FAMILY and friends at St Luke’s Hospice can look forward to a more comfortable stay thanks to a gift from leading Sheffield furniture retailer Ponsford.
When the Ponsford team heard that the charity needed a new sofa bed for the charity’s Family Room, they contacted manufacturers Alstons. Between them they came up with the perfect piece of furniture.
Ponsford is a keen St Luke’s supporter and has held a number of fundraising events in the past, including its popular Gin and Jazz afternoons.
St Luke’s Director of Care and Lead for Healthcare Partnerships Jo Lenton:
“Quite often we will have family and friends who need to stay at the hospice overnight with loved ones. We always want to ensure that they have as comfortable an experience as possible,”
