A prominent city-centre landmark in the heart of Sheffield is to be declared open for business after being vacant for over a decade.
The former Deacon House, which will now be known as Wizu Workspace 32 Eyre Street, shall be officially opened by Lord Mayor, Tony Dowling at a launch event on February 27.
Taking place between 5 pm and 8 pm, the event will see hundreds of creatives, entrepreneurs and business owners from the local community come together to network and celebrate the re-opening of a once run-down building.
Thanks to a recent multi million pound refurbishment, guests will be able to enjoy a tour of the beautifully designed, iconic workspace which comprises private office suites, co-working spaces, event space, meeting rooms.
In addition, complimentary food, and drink will be provided, as well as a free coworking day to use at their leisure.
Commenting on the launch, Tom Almas, managing director said: “We are proud to have turned an unloved building into a beautiful workspace in Sheffield. It will allow businesses to thrive at their own pace without being tied into long-term contracts.”
