Doncaster based Rejus Limited celebrate twenty years in business in 2019.

Rejus is a highly regarded National Facilities Management business.

They were recently Highly Commended for their work with young people and schools by Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce at the 2018 Business Awards.

Using a Children’s Champion called Donny, Rejus are encouraging lessons, engaging our young people with an element of fun.

From subjects that include developing best hygiene standards and working together, the aim is to build confidence and help children benefit from important lessons.

Donny has an arch enemy called IT-AL-DO who seeks to mislead children – but Donny wins the day by showing poor hygiene will NEVERDO.

Rejus are keen supporters of DMBC’s aims to become the Most Child Friendly Borough, using UNICEF guidelines to achieve it.

CEO Babs Lynds was also a Finalist in the Business Person of the Year Category.

She told us, “We have supported local education for over sixteen years and have a keen interest in using this platform to raise the aspirations and outcomes of our young people in Doncaster and beyond.  We invest a lot of personal time to achieve this and there is great encouragement in watching our young people thrive. The Doncaster Council’s aims overlap with what we want to achieve, and we will contribute wherever we can to help and support their goal.  It’s nice to see that everyone we speak to recognise the value in our efforts, it spurs us on.  This year we are the first company in England to sponsor a full year 9 group of students at our local secondary school through their Duke of Edinburgh bonze award; this will enable them to gain vital life skills that can be transferred into preparing them for world of work”.
