Sheffield-born international fitness phenomenon TRIB3 is set to open its first mainland European store.

One of the most talked about names in the fitness industry throughout the past two years, TRIB3 was launched in Sheffield in 2016 and was almost instantly hailed as one of Britain’s best workouts by the influential Women’s Health magazine.

It has also been named one of the Top Five hardest workouts in the world by the Sunday Times.

Last year saw TRIB3 open its first site to huge acclaim in the Russian capital of Moscow.

And the end of May will see the launch of the company’s first Spanish club, the start of a new phase of expansion that will be followed by a Madrid TRIB3 – scheduled for a September launch – and ultimately an estimated 60 other venues across the country.

The Barcelona club is based completely on the original TRIB3 concept that proved such a hit in Sheffield and Leeds, with 100 per cent UK specification imported equipment and all elements of the concept beyond fitness, including industrial lux changing rooms, retail space, Mixology bar, premium cosmetics and top quality towels.

All the trainers are experienced industry professionals who went through a rigorous selection process to train to TRIB3 class standards and to develop a full knowledge of the TRIB3 MyZone system support.

TRIB3 CEO Kevin Yates said: “The BarcelonaTRIB3, perfectly situated between the tourist and commercial areas, is the ideal setting for our first Spanish TRIB3 and we now looking forward to rolling the concept out across the whole country as well as developing other sites across the rest of Europe and internationally.”

The next country to embrace the TRIB3 phenomenon will be Finland, with a launch in the city of Tampere scheduled for this October, to be followed by a TRIB3 in the Finnish capital, Helsinki.
