Serviced office space provider Cubo, which opened its doors in Sheffield in early April, has reached new heights (literally) with a four-storey enterprise on Carver Street, complete with Alto rooftop bar set to open in May.
The team received more than 50 enquiries for hot desk memberships in their open plan co-working area and private office space in the first week. The ground floor co-working area consists of a reception and barista station where members can enjoy freshly made coffee and drinks on their way into work.
A striking staircase features in the centre, along with large work desks, plenty of power sockets, a large kitchen with a FRANKE coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge, as well as meeting rooms, lounge areas and tables for dining.
The office space has an eye-catching glass frontage from Carver Street and a vaulted ceiling which shows the real scale of the place from the first floor.
In partnership with the Heart of the City scheme, the gardens will transform the outlook on to Sheffield and create a welcoming environment for its members.
The Sheffield building is in addition to the Derby and Nottingham sites already in Cubo’s growing portfolio, and within close proximity to Sheffield City Centre and local transport links.
Joe Wicks, CEO of NuBreed Hotels, has signed for a private office at Cubo Sheffield.
He said: “We chose an office with Cubo as it ticks our three boxes: flexibility, location, and staff engagement. We reward staff where possible and having a great space to work from is important for us.
“We are opening our customer success and customer support hub in Sheffield and Cubo gives us the flexibility to scale our team and office footprint quickly.”
