Celebrate Move More Month by visiting Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park on Friday June 15 to see the spectacle of strongman Paul Smith pull a double decker bus along  the 100m track.

Taking place between midday and  2pm, Paul is the youngest person to hold England’s Strongest Man title in 2016-2017 and  is currently the World’s Strongest Junior.

Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park and Man Beast Strongman Events is hosting this special event for Move More which will include support from local health and wellbeing, sport and fitness providers.

Watch a weightlifting display by Hallam Barbell Club and make the most of the opportunity to try out the sport yourself.

Have a go on a Watt Bike courtesy of Wosskow Brown and take the Power Test Challenge – ride the bike for a 10 second burst and the dial on the bike will give a measure of your ‘power’.

Chat to Sheffield International Venues staff and find out about the fitness programmes, classes and lessons available across their venues including the English Institute of Sport Sheffield and iceSheffield, both located at Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park.

Also, there will also be opportunities to find out about other health and wellbeing activities, services and events in the local area and beyond.

The first bus pull will take place at 12.30pm and a second at 1.30pm – with passengers!
