The Great Escape MD, former unLTD cover star and self-confessed ‘fixer’ Hannah Duraid started Unspoken Moments during the pandemic – a playing card experience that embraces and encourages conversation during tricky times 

Tell us about your business – sell yourselves!

This was a little idea I had before Christmas. It was (sadly) born from the huge amount of people around me, or friends of friends who were suffering with the effects of lockdown, resulting in anything from low mood to loneliness to suicide.

I’m a bit of a fixer and if I can help in anyway, I will try my hardest! One of the common patterns was that, until the individuals hit breaking point, genuinely no-one had any idea because they didn’t talk.

So, this experience is a series of question prompts spanning from the past, present and future. Some are light-hearted and other things dig a little deeper – but there is an option to pass or revisit, so players are always comfortable, too.

My hope is that it will encourage conversation between people or even on an individual basis, to encourage untold stories, connection and, most importantly, be a simple way to start to tackle those more difficult unspoken moments.
