Sheffield-based energy consultancy, Professional Energy Purchasing (PEP) has extended its services for businesses looking for support with energy reduction plans, legislation changes, and government led climate reduction targets.
The investment is based on major changes taking place within the energy market and an internal client survey that was run last year. The survey results saw 90% of respondents looking for ways to cut energy consumption; with 50% wanting support with carbon emission reduction plans to hit government climate targets.
The new services which include net zero planning will help companies to identify energy savings and build a roadmap to achieve the UK’s aggressive carbon emissions goals.
MD Linda Spencer comments “As the UK energy market continues to change and with it, new legislation and net zero targets, businesses that can’t afford an in-house energy manager need additional support. In the past we’ve helped clients with their energy efficiency planning as part of our procurement service but on an ad hoc basis.”

PEP has also launched a new website and refreshed its brand identity to convey this new up-to-date era of the business. This investment was made possible with help from a regional SME Restart & Recovery grant.
