Disruptive technology coupled with the drive of one of the region’s leading young entrepreneurs has now put cutting edge marketing expertise within the budget of every small business in the Sheffield City Region.
Rob Taylor has spent the last 18 months developing his brand new www.0114marketing.co.uk resource – an online training hub that is already providing its first signs ups with cutting edge techniques geared to developing a business for under £25 a month.
Last year he won Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber’s coveted marketing campaign of the year award following the success of his thriving, 500-plus online community that swap advice and meet on a monthly basis to share marketing ideas.
Rob Taylor said: “Every business needs marketing but not every business can afford a full time marketer. The 0114 goal is to provide an easy to follow, affordable marketing resource that can be used by any small business in the Sheffield City Region.”
The www.0114marketing.co.uk package offers a mix of training videos, events, interactive worksheets, regular accountability updates, live networking, workshops and more.
Steve Knapp, one of the first entrepreneurs to sign up to www.0114marketing.co.uk, said: “I feel fortunate to benefit from the pragmatic, actionable and impactful direction of Rob Taylor.”
Janine Wolstenholme from Zania Womens’ Mountain Bike Wear said his resource left others standing because it allowed the opportunity to learn about marketing in an interactive way.
She said: “I can easily apply what I’m learning to my business by breaking it down in to manageable chunks. I feel like I now have the missing part of the puzzle.’”
Rob Taylor formerly worked in a marketing capacity for some of the region’s best known live music venues. They have included the Leadmill, Plug and 02 Academy.
