After 12 years of city centre sleep outs the Cathedral Archer Project (CAP) this year is hosting their sleep out as part of a music festival on Saturday 8th June, at Don Valley Bowl in conjunction with MosFest.

Music for the Homeless will be a collection of amazing music, great entertainment and fun activities.

But most importantly it is a chance for you to challenge yourself and gain a small insight into what it is like for people sleeping out, for whom sadly, sleeping outdoors is not a one-off experience.

After rocking out to bands from across the UK you’ll find your patch of ground and sleep out under the stars. To sleep out after the music all you have to do is raise a minimum of £50 per person. Though if you want a little bit of luxury you can pay £25 to reserve a tent pitch and bring your own tent.

Lynne Urpeth, (CAP) Corporate and Event Co-ordinator added: “We are really excited to be working with Mosfest on what is going to be the Charity event of the year.

“Mosfest is now widely regarded as Sheffield’s biggest and best organised charity-based festival organisers.”
