Commercial law firm Harper James Solicitors has announced the expansion of its national team with the appointment of a further Partner.

Ashley Mott joins the firm’s growing team and will operate from the firm’s Sheffield headquarters to assist Toby Harper, the founder and CEO, and the wider management team, in the running of the head office and the firm more generally.

Ashley is a very experienced and sought-after litigator and brings with him 30 years’ experience handling UK based and international business disputes. He is also an accredited mediator and arbitrator. Prior to taking on the role at Harper James, Ashley spent 28 years at DLA Piper, one of the world’s biggest law firms – 22 as a Partner at the firm.

The latest appointment is part of a recent set of appointments at Harper James, founded in 2014 and today made up of more than 40 partners, solicitors, and support staff.
