Growing Sheffield legal firm, Bhayani Law, has expanded its services further with the addition of litigation and dispute solicitor, Sarah Coates-Madden.
Setting up Bhayani Law five years ago, Jay Bhayani’s aim was to develop a one-stop-shop offering first class, practical HR and legal advice to businesses and individuals. Already known for its excellent holistic offering, Sarah adds a new skill to the firm, bringing with her over 14 years’ experience advising on a wide variety of litigation matters across East and South Yorkshire.
Sarah’s past experience includes helping small businesses, charities and PLCs with commercial disputes, such as disputed invoices and debt recovery, breach of contract, negligence claims, company and shareholder/director disputes, and employer restrictive covenant advice, as well as commercial property litigation, including dilapidations issues, forfeiture, breach of lease covenants and lease renewal court proceedings. Commercially focused, Sarah understands that most businesses prefer to find cost-effective and practical solutions to their issues that don’t involve court proceedings and listens carefully to her clients so she can help explore alternative dispute resolutions. However, she is experienced in dealing with court and tribunal proceedings.
Adaptable and versatile, Sarah also helps individuals with issues such as residential property disputes, including possession claims/problem tenants, right of way and boundary issues, nuisance claims and adverse possession. Years of experience dealing with a wide range of issues at the Citizens’ Advice Bureau, prior to becoming a solicitor, and sitting on the board as a trustee of a housing association, have helped Sarah to become the level-headed and reassuring advisor that she is.
Jay Bhayani, managing director of Bhayani Law, says: “Sarah is an excellent addition to our team, further expanding the service we offer. I am confident that her skill and experience will be of great value to our existing and new clients.”
