Global wholesaler and distributor Pricecheck has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain for the second year running.

Now on its sixth edition, the report celebrates the UK’s fastest growing businesses across a range of sectors.

To be selected, businesses had to demonstrate not only positive revenue growth over the past three years, but also outperform their sector peers.

It is the second year running Sheffield-based Pricecheck has been included in the list, with more than two-thirds of the companies named appearing on the list for the first time.

Pricecheck works in partnership with major brand owners and continues to develop exciting new sales channels in the UK and overseas. The business, which has customers ranging from high street stores to pharmacy chains and other wholesalers, has set a turnover target of £200m by 2025.

Pricecheck, an international distributor of fast-moving consumer goods, was named an Export Champion by the Department for International Trade earlier this year and has won a clutch of top awards in the past five years including a Queen’s Award for International Trade.

The fast-growing business is based near Junction 31 of the M1 and now has a team of 182.
